Park worked at the Korea Fair Trade Commission from 2007 to 2018 in the areas of antitrust (collusion, abuse of market dominance, corporate mergers, insider trading, etc.), business transactions between large companies and small-medium sized enterprises (subcontracting, franchising, and distribution), and consumer protection (labeling and advertising, standard terms and conditions, special transactions, etc.), where he was responsible for investigation, review, and policy affairs. He also served as a standing commissioner of the KFTC from 2018 to 2020, where he was in charge of deliberating and deciding on KFTC cases. Based on his extensive work experience, he provides advisory services related to cases and policies in the areas of fair trade.
