Mr. Byung Chul Joo has been in the media industry for over 30 years, serving as the editor of the city desk, business desk, industry section, editorials and others at Seoul Shinmun. On the city desk, he mainly handled matters relating to the police and the legal fields. On the business desk and in the industry section, he covered the major financial fields and the government institutions dealing with economics. As a journalist, he helped to raise the issues as is and to find alternative solutions relating to the investigative authorities’ taking advantages of its inferiors and human rights violations, the government’s excessive market intervention, and market abuse by the market participants. Based on his diverse work experience in the media industry, Mr. Joo now resolves and provides advice for arbitration on and resolves conflicts arising from the relationship between the media and individuals, the media and corporation, the media and government institutions relating to economics and others.
