Sang Man KIM Appointed as an Audit Advisory Board Member of the Korea Asset Management Corporation

On June 25, 2024, Kim was appointed as an audit advisor to the Korea Asset Management Corporation (June 25, 2024 – June 23, 2025). The Korea Asset Management Corporation is a quasi-governmental organization established under the Act on the Establishment, etc. of the Korea Asset Management Corporation, which is responsible for acquiring and disposing non-performing loans of financial institutions, corporate restructuring, supporting the financial recovery of vulnerable groups, managing state-owned property, and clearing tax arrears. During his appointment as a member of the audit advisory board of the Korea Asset Management Corporation, Kim will work to establish a transparent corporate culture through compliance of public ethics, communication, and participation to realize ESG-centered sustainable management. 

In Cheol KANG Appointed as a Member of the Sanctions Immunity Review Committee of the Financial Supervisory Service

On June 12, 2024, Kang was appointed as a member of the Sanctions Immunity Review Committee of the Financial Supervisory Service (June 8, 2024 - June 7, 2026). The Financial Supervisory Service is an audit organization that contributes to the development of the national economy by promoting financial market stability and financial industry development, and protecting financial consumers through inspection and supervision of financial institutions. The Sanctions Immunity Review Committee of the Financial Supervisory Service deliberates on whether the work performed by financial companies and their employees falls under the categories subject to immunity, such as credit business, etc., and intention or gross negligence, which is excluded from immunity. As a member of the Sanctions Immunity Review Committee, Kang will do his best to ensure that a sound credit order and fair financial transaction practices are established through objective and professional deliberations during his appointment.

Tae Eon KOO Appointed as an Advisor to NH Bank's Digital Strategy Advisory Committee

On June 24, 2024, Koo was appointed as an advisor to NH Bank's Digital Strategy Advisory Committee (June 24, 2024 - June 23, 2025). Since its establishment in 1961, NH Bank has been a field-oriented cooperative specialized bank that has played the role of "finance as a medium" between rural and urban areas. The NH Bank Digital Strategy Advisory Committee was formed to provide more useful services to customers in a rapidly changing digital new technology and market environment. During his appointment, Koo will do his best to make meaningful recommendations for the establishment of a digital financial ecosystem and to strengthen NHB's customer-centric digital financial services using new technologies.

Sun Hee CHA Appointed as a Member of the Anti-Corruption Regulatory Advisory Group of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission

On April 11, 2024, Cha was appointed as a member of the Anti-Corruption Regulatory Advisory Group of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (April 11, 2024 - April 10, 2026). Since its establishment in 2008, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has been an administrative body that has been working to protect and provide remedies for the rights and interests of the people and achieve a fair society by combating fraud and corruption. As a member of the Anti-Corruption Regulatory Advisory Group of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission,  Cha will approach the policy implementation in an objective manner by, inter alia, providing interpretation of anti-corruption laws and related policy advice to help the agency operate the anti-corruption law system in a clear and systematic manner, and will do her best to protect the rights and interests of the public and the socially vulnerable by preventing and combating corruption.

Cheol Soo KIM appointed as an auditor of MakinaRocks 

On March 1, 2024, Kim was appointed as an auditor of MakinaRocks. MakinaRocks is a global company that has been striving to realize the intellectualization of the industry with its enterprise MLOps platform and industry-specific AI solutions since its establishment in 2017, and was selected as a World Economic Forum's Tech Pioneer in 2021; was named in the Emerging AI+X Top100 in 2023 (for three consecutive years), and received the Prime Minister's Award for Meritorious Contribution to Information and Communication on the 2024 Science and ICT Day. During his appointment, Kim will support fair and transparent corporate management as an auditor of MakinaRocks, and will do his best to help the company solve problems in the industrial field through data and AI.

Kyung Hee PARK Appointed as a Member of the Social Subcommittee of the Autonomous Vehicle Convergence Future Forum

Park was first appointed in April 2020, then in April 2022, and was reappointed on April 26, 2024, as a member of the Social Subcommittee of the Future Forum on Autonomous Vehicle Convergence organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The Future Forum on Autonomous Vehicle Convergence, launched in 2016, is a forum that brings together experts from the fields of institutions, technology, industry, and society to establish a roadmap to make autonomous vehicles a new growth engine and bring about transportation and logistics innovation using autonomous vehicles, and to identify necessary R&D initiatives and institutional improvements to create new industries. With the support from the Land Ministry, it helps the government in making policies by, inter alia, suggesting how to address current issues. During her appointment, Park will spare no effort to ensure the unhindered achievement of the goal of commercialization of full autonomous driving 2027 by leading the development of the autonomous vehicle industry and innovation in transportation and logistics, and establishing a preemptive system to promote the commercialization of autonomous driving. 

Sung Han JEON Appointed as an Outside Director of SENA Technology Co.

On April 30, 2024, Lee was appointed as an Outside Director of SENA Technology Corporation (SENA) (April 30, 2024 - April 29, 2027). SENA Technology has been striving to improve its technological capabilities in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded Internet (System), and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) for more than 20 years since its foundation in 1998, and is a global company that develops, manufactures, and develops, manufactures, and sells wearable smart devices and products that can be used in dynamic activities such as leisure and outdoor sports utilizing multimedia wireless communication technology. In 2021, the company was incorporated as a subsidiary of Kakao Games, Inc. and has been growing even more steeply, and in 2024, it won the top prize at the iF Design Award 2024 in Germany. As an outside director of SENA Technology, Jeon is expected to provide a broader range of professional solutions related to management while striving to ensure transparent and fair corporate operations, by monitoring internal transactions, and preventing autocratic management and abuse of power.

Eung Jun JEON Appointed as a Member of the Privacy Policy Evaluation Committee of the Personal Information Protection Commission

On June 25, 2024, Jeon was appointed as a member of the Privacy Policy Evaluation Committee of the Personal Information Protection Commission. The Personal Information Protection Commission is a consensus-based central administrative body established to independently conduct matters related to the processing and protection of personal information, including improving laws and regulations, providing remedies for violations of rights, and investigating and ordering dispositions for infringements of rights . As a member of the Privacy Policy Evaluation Committee of the Personal Information Protection Commission, Jeon will be actively engaged in evaluating and improving the appropriateness and accessibility of personal information policies in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.

Kyung Oh CHUNG Appointed as a Member of the KISDI's Technology Special Listing Review Committee

In May 2024, Jung was appointed as a member of the Technology Special Listing Review Committee of the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI). The KISDI is a research institute specializing in telecommunications and broadcasting in Korea, and is a government-funded research institute under the Economic, Humanities and Social Research Council under the Prime Minister’s Office. As a state-run research institute, the KISDI is designated as a specialized evaluation agency for the Technology Special Listing System for technology growth companies, and as a member of the KISDI's Technology Special Listing Review Committee, Jung will do his best to ensure that companies with growth potential in the field of high-tech and strategic technologies that need to be fostered at the national level are properly evaluated.

Seung Kwan CHOI Appointed as an Outside Director of EnGIS Technologies, Inc.

Choi was appointed as an outside director of EnGIS Technologies, Inc. on May 22, 2024 (May 22, 2024 - May 22, 2027). EnGIS Technologies, Inc. is a leading global software development company that provides premium software solutions to the global automotive market, with customers including automobile manufacturers, top-tier suppliers, and technology companies in the automotive and consumer electronics industries. During his appointment, Choi will strive for management transparency, by including monitoring internal transactions and preventing abuse of power by major shareholders and executives, and provide professional advice and solutions to maximize the interests of the company.

Seung Kwan CHOI Appointed as an Arbitrator of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board

On June 1, 2024, Choi was appointed as an arbitrator of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (June 1, 2024 - May 31, 2027). Since its establishment in 1966, the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board has been a statutory arbitration institution that strives to resolve and prevent various disputes arising in domestic and international commercial transactions through mediation and good offices, and to spur the industrial and economic development of the country by resolving such disputes fairly and promptly. In addition, arbitrators are tasked with resolving disputes between parties in arbitration proceedings more smoothly through legal solutions, and as an arbitrator at the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board, Choi will thoroughly and carefully review and adjudicate cases during his upcoming appointment so that disputes in various fields can be resolved more amicably and quickly.

Seok LEE Appointed as an Outside Director of Welfare Union Co., Ltd.

On January 29, 2024, Lee was appointed as an independent director of Welfare Union Co., Ltd. Since its establishment in 2011, Welfare Union is a social enterprise that strives to develop senior-friendly food by developing Korea's first Korean "Hyoban Dysphagia-friendly Meal (6 types)," opening a community restaurant, “Yeollin Babsang” for nutritional care for the elderly, developing a "Silver Screening" program, a dietary diagnostic tool for the elderly, and training "Senior Food Coordinators" through a private certification course. During his appointment, Lee will strive for transparent and fair management of the company and will do his best to realize the core values of human respect, common good, and solidarity so that the company's vision of improving the quality of life (QOL) of the elderly by creating a food security ecosystem can be realized.

Seok LEE Appointed to the Board of Directors of the Korea ICT Restart Association

On May 9, 2024, Lee was appointed as a member of the board of directors of the Korea ICT Restart Association (KIRA). Since its establishment in 2018, the KIRA, as an incorporated non-profit organization, has been striving for the development of its members, the ICT industry, and related industries by conducting digital job creation projects, and projects to create regional digital innovation ecosystems, thereby fostering successful startup ecosystems based on information and communication technology. During his appointment, Lee will be actively engaged in ensuring the Association can support the reemployment of socially vulnerable people, and create new jobs based on AI technology and realize social values through joint cooperation among member companies, protection of rights and interests, and development of related policies to meet the needs of the fourth industrial era.

Ji Young GIL Appointed as an Outside Director of ALUX 

On April 1, 2024, Gil was appointed as an outside director of ALUX, which is a robot coding-centered education company founded in 2015. ALUX is an edtech company that aims to be a "future education" company with both coding, artificial intelligence (AI) learning materials, and robotics education capabilities, providing a curriculum based on the company's 25 patents related to robot design, coding, and AI education, and offering homogeneous education to education consumers. During her appointment, Gil will spare no effort to enhance the company's management transparency, understand the changing education business, and provide professional solutions to realize the corporate value – growth of the company, its employees, and the education technology.

Bo Mi SEO Appointed as a Member of the Medical Device Advertising Review Committee of the Korea Medical Device Industry Association (KMDIA)

On June 24, 2024, Seo was appointed as a member of the Medical Device Advertising Review Committee of the Korea Medical Device Industry Association (KMDIA) under the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The KMDIA is an organization established to establish the domestic and international supply order of medical devices and to contribute to the improvement of public health and the development of the medical device industry by supplying high-quality medical devices. The KMDIA was found in 1999 with the aim of producing and supplying medical devices continuously, and is now one of the most influential medical device organizations in Korea. Its members, both domestic and multinational companies, represent more than 80% of the Korean market. Seo, Head of the Digital Healthcare Team at LIN,  is expected to thoroughly deliberate and strive to help the Association provide more accurate and correct medical device information to the people and improve public health.
