LKB Partners and LIN signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to merge in February, creating a large law firm with more than 150 lawyers.

LIN bolstered its ranks with the hiring of Dong Jae Yi from Lee & Ko and Hyo Jong Choi, who previously worked at Shin & Kim and DR & AJU. Both firms are expected to continue to aggressively recruit talent as they aim to enter the top 10 Korean law firm rankings through the merger.
