LIN (Managing Partner, Jin Seok Lim) and the Korea SMEs & Startups Registrar (KORSE) (President Eom Jin-yeop) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the information protection capabilities of public institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises. The signing ceremony was held on May 28th in the main conference room of the KORSE in Seoul, and LIN’s Managing Partner Jin Seok Lim and Head of the firm’s Personal Information Protection Team Seo Yeon Ahn attended.
Under the terms of the MOU, the KORSE will provide a reduction in ISO certification audit fees to institutions and companies referred by LIN, and LIN will provide legal advice on overall information protection activities to public institutions and SMEs referred by the KORSE.
Based on its legal expertise in information protection, LIN plans to actively support the establishment and implementation of information security and personal information protection policies for SMEs and public institutions. In particular, in the current situation where information security management is no longer an option but a necessity, we aim to provide practical legal support to enable institutions and companies to build a safe management environment and secure their public credibility and competitiveness.
This partnership will serve as an opportunity for specialized legal and certification agencies to work together to elevate the standards of domestic information protection, and LIN will continue to faithfully fulfill its role as a legal partner for the sustainable growth of companies and institutions.
