Managing Partner Jin Seok LIM has been recognized globally for his expertise and competence by being selected as one of "Korea's Top 100 Lawyers 2023" by Asia Business Law Journal.
 
Asia Business Law Journal is an Asian regional legal magazine that selects this year's Top 100 Lawyers in Korea based on the results of a survey of domestic and international companies and foreign law firms with a significant presence in Korea.
 
Mr. Lim has a distinguished career in the financial sector, solidifying his reputation as an expert in the field by effectively representing major companies in litigation matters. Notably, he achieved a significant victory this year on behalf of Hyundai Motor Securities. This triumph involved a successful appeal against two investment securities firms that had neglected due diligence in connection with Hyundai Motor Securities' investment in securitized securities issued by a Chinese state-owned company, with private placement bonds as the underlying assets.
 
This appellate success overturned the initial trial court's ruling that favored the opposing companies, leading to an order for them to pay 24.5 billion won. This amount represents 50% of the incurred loss, showcasing Mr. Lim's prowess in securing favorable outcomes for his clients and resulting in heightened client satisfaction.
