Lin’s Managing Partner Jin Seok Lim (Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea (20th)), has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in the “Securities & Finance” sector in the October issue of Legal Times' 2023 Special Edition.
 
As the specialization of attorneys in law firms becomes increasingly diversified and their expertise deepens, the legal publication Legal Times has selected practicing attorneys in various fields of law in Korea as "Leading Lawyers 2023" in 13 categories, including Securities and Finance, Corporate and M&A, IP, TMT, and others, reflecting these trends.
 
According to Legal Times, Managing Partner Jin Seok Lim has been widely involved in providing advice on PF-related matters for securities firms and representing financial companies in their regulatory compliance work with the Financial Supervisory Service. Recently, he has also demonstrated his expertise in disputes among financial institutions and has been praised for his professional competence in representing such cases. Additionally, he has worked on a case involving a KRW 500 billion claim for damages related to ABCP sales, in which he achieved victory in about half of the cases. He is also involved in various lawsuits, such as claims for the return of unjust gains related to DLS.
