Young Jae Shin, a senior partner at LIN's M&A team and a graduate of the 26th Judicial Training Institute, has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in the "Corporate and M&A" category in Legal Times' Leading Lawyers 2023 Special Issue, featured in the October edition.

In the midst of the increasing specialization of the work of lawyers practicing at law firms, Legal Times reflects this trend by recognizing Korean corporate lawyers as "Leading Lawyers 2023" across 13 practice areas, including Corporate and M&A, Securities & Finance, TMT, IP.
 

 
Legal Times highlights Ms. Shin's extensive experience as a seasoned M&A expert, having established a long and successful career at prominent law firms, including Yulchon. Since joining LIN, she has diversified her practice by handling a wide range of transactions, including M&A deals involving companies like SDI Biosensor, Bionote, and KNW.
 
One of Ms. Shin's remarkable achievements was her advisory role in BGF Group's acquisition of KNW, a semiconductor core material specialist, valued at KRW 1,135 billion. Her seamless execution of this and other large-scale transactions contributed to the Firm's continued strengthening of its position in the M&A market.
