LIN won the Best House Award (Dealsite CEO Award) in the M&A Legal Advisory category at the 3rd Dealsite IB Awards held at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on the 23rd of January.
This year's IB Awards, hosted by Dealsite, a media outlet specializing in capital markets, evaluates the advisory performance of domestic and foreign IBs, law firms, and accounting firms based on a year’s worth of data across IPOs, paid-in capital increase, debt capital markets (DCM), and M&A. LIN was selected as the winner of the Best House Award (Dealsite CEO Award) after its advisory deal value more than doubled compared to the previous year.

LIN ranked 8th for M&A legal advisory by deal value in the '2024 Dealsite Capital Market League Table.' This represents a significant five-place jump in just one year, up from 13th place in 2023. The firm’s deal volume grew from 8 deals in 2023 to 17 in 2024 with the total deal value increasing from KRW 307.4 billion to KRW 702.9 billion.
LIN has carried out two large-scale deals worth over KRW 100 billion each:
- Advising the acquirer, New Power Plasma, in its KRW 179.8 billion acquisition of a controlling stake in Dowooinsys, which was completed in early 2024
- Advising the seller in Goodai Global's KRW 149.9 billion acquisition of TIRTIR
LIN also provided legal advice on significant M&A deals, including:
- Atlas Copco’s acquisition of Presys (KRW 55.3 billion)
- The Equity Investment in Dowooinsys by Yuam Kozelkova No. 1 Private Equity Investment Partnership and MG Sobujang Invest Associaiton No. 5 (KRW 48.7 billion)
- Corning Hungarian Data Services’ acquisition of NanoProtect (KRW 39 billion)
- The acquisition of a smart factory logistics solution company Jenix by AKK Robotech Value Up New Technology Investment Association (KRW 20 billion)
- The acquisition of Yoon Design Group (KRW 15.5 billion)
- The incorporation of KonaM as a wholly owned subsidiary (KRW 38.3 billion)
In addition, LIN also advised on numerous other M&A deals, including:
- The acquisition of Hajin by Seoul Fragrance, a fragrance manufacturer (KRW 4.7 billion)
- The acquisition of Cocospack, a cosmetics container manufacturer, involving Nokwon C&I and other parties (KRW 35 billion)
- The acquisition of Vinau, a cosmetics company, by V1 Maverick No. 1 Private Equity Investment Partnership and V1 Time New Technology Investment Association No. 1 (KRW 15 billion)
