· Represented the defendants in a title registration lawsuit in which the plaintiff claimed that the defendants received a gift from an heir who was in a state of dementia and that the gift was invalid, and obtained a judgment in favor of the defendants by proving that the heir was not in a state of dementia at the time of the gift and that the statute of limitations had expired (final) (January 2019) -
· Obtained dismissal of prosecutor's appeal of first-degree fraud case by effectively impeaching the complainant's testimony even though the complainant was cross-examined on appeal (final) (November 2018) -
· On appeal in a fraud case where the defendants were convicted on all counts in the first trial, obtained partial acquittals and reduced sentences by arguing and proving that the defendants never committed the fraud (fraud through tampering with gasoline meters) during nighttime hours (final) (December 2018) -
· Obtained dismissal and partial acquittal by arguing that some of the indicted facts bore an imaginary relationship to the facts of the crimes for which there was a final judgment, and arguing that there was insufficient evidence regarding the amount of damage (December 2018) -
· Appealed the first trial court's sentence of four years in prison and effectively submitted mitigation data regarding the degree of involvement in the crime and the defendant’s health, which resulted in a six-month reduction in sentence and a ruling to remain on bail (January 2019). -
· In the first trial of a special law violation (fraud) case in which the defendant was accused of extorting KRW 700 million, the defendant was acquitted of all charges as there was no evidence to prove the facts of the prosecution (January 2019). -
· Obtained partial acquittal and reduced sentence on appeal as there was no evidence to prove the crime of opening gambling establishments (February 2019) -
· Won dismissal of indictment in a criminal trial for violation of the Local Tax Act
